George Cosmetics: Blushes in Cheeky and Sorbet

Blushes are probably one of my favourite pieces of makeup to use, I can't get enough of them! I used to avoid them for years in the worry I was adding more colour to my (already) rosy cheeks, but I now realise it's all about picking the right shade and how you apply them. These two blushes are the newest additions to my blush collection, and it has to be said they're amazing. The shades would be flattering on just about any skin tone, but if like me you don't want to play up to the natural redness in your cheeks these are particularly great choices.

Sorbet is the blush that really got me interested in George makeup. I wanted a blush to wear when I was fake tanned, and thought the peach colour would compliment a warmer skin tone. Although it does compliment a tan, I've found that I absolutely love this against my normal, cool toned pale skin colour too. It adds colour without accentuating my natural red flush, and I'm pretty sure will be the start of a peach blush addiction. Cheeky is a pretty pastel pink shade, it's extremely flattering and easy to wear, and I think will be a perfect springtime choice when pastel colours start popping up everywhere.

While both have great pigmentation the colour is still soft, and so there's no worry of completely overdoing it. I love how compact they are making them ideal for a makeup bag, handbag or for travelling when you don't want to be carrying great big products around with you. There are 4g of product in each blush, and they only cost £3 each!

Have you ever tried these? Which is your favourite shade?
