Life's a Peach by Sleek- Swatches and Review

Life's a Peach by Sleek (link)

I've made it my life's mission over the last couple of weeks to find the perfect matte peach blush from the highstreet- who knew they were so difficult to find? Thank you very much Sleek, because you have definitely filled a matte, peach, blush shaped void in my life. The Superdrug in my city is a huge let down (bad news for a makeup addict like me) so I had no way of testing or swatching this before ordering it, but it didn't disappoint at all. I'm just glad I chose this over Pan Tao and Aruba which I also had my eye on; you can see how bright Life's a Peach is in the pan, and it was the lightest of the three. If you have pale skin like me, and have no intentions of becoming the colour of a pumpkin, go with Life's a Peach.

I have nothing bad to say about Sleek's packaging; cute, compact and a good sized mirror in the lid. They feel like much better quality than the horrible clear plastic that most companies in this price bracket throw their products into. Even though they look teeny tiny there's actually a generous 8g of product inside, even complete blush-a-holics wont be making a dent in that any time soon. Plus the pigmentation is good so you only need a small amount to get a nice colour on the cheeks. At less than a fiver you can't go wrong with the price either, plus there's loads of colours to choose from if orange/peach isn't your thing. I recently reviewed Rose Gold (another gorgeous Sleek shade) here, it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life. Seriously go and swatch it immediately! Because it's so shimmery though I prefer to use it as a highlight rather than an actual blush, I think Rose Gold as a highlight over Life's a Peach will be like a match made in makeup heaven. Both Rose Gold and Life's a Peach can be found in Sleek's Blush By Three Lace palette under different names (Crotchet and Guipure) which I didn't realise until afterwards, so if you like the look of these shades it might be worth checking out. Sleek products are available from Superdrug and the Sleek website, I got mine here on eBay. Looking for a similar, higher end alternative? I compared Life's a Peach against Mac's Peaches here.

Have you tried Sleek blushes? What's your favourite shade?
