NOTD: Shades of Pink

Maybelline Berry Fast / Revlon Sweet Tart / Barry M Grapefruit / Barry M Dragonfruit / George Pink/ Top Coat: Barry M Pink Sapphire Glitter

Alright, so they aren't the classiest and most elegant nails in the world- but come on they're pretty great don't you think? Today's manicure was inspired by a little notion I had of 'why wear one shade of pink when you can wear five?' I wasn't entirely sure how this look would work out but now they're done it's definitely love, and after a few days of bare nails I've well and truly got my sparkly nail fix with these! I've spent the last few days sanding down doors and skirtingboards and painting the wood work in my house (I've had a serious 'gloss paint headache' going on let me tell you) and so I'm feeling much more like myself now that the paint splatters have been replaced with pretty pink nail varnish.

I did attempt to put these in order of darkest to lightest, which I can see now I completely failed at. But it's reminded me of a few pinks in my collection that I'd completely forgotten about- I mean how nice is Maybelline Berry Fast?! I used Barry M's Pink Sapphire Glitter to tie everything together, I don't think you'll find a more fun nail polish than this- it literally looks like someone has pulled a sparkly party popper and you've caught it all on your nails.

What have you got on your nails today?
