Blogmas #8 My Top Five Christmas Bedding Picks

What better way to get in the festive spirit than to spruce up your bedroom with some beautiful Christmassy bedding! Investing in a festive duvet cover seems to be more popular than ever, and there are so many designs to choose from these days. While there are plenty of bold and tacky designs that are fun for Christmas, my personal preference is for pretty prints that are a bit more on the subtle side and would still go with the decor in my room. Here are five of my favourites!

1. Winter Animals
I love the simple monochrome; the animal print features penguins, reindeer and polar bears with a snowy polka dot background. It would add a touch of festivity at Christmas, but you could definitely get away with it throughout the rest of the winter too!

I found it surprisingly hard to find subtle Christmas bedding I liked on eBay. But I spotted this snowflake design that I thought was really pretty, the white, silver and duck egg blue is a gorgeous combination and again could easily be used all the way through winter.

3. Grey Fairisle Print
I'm obsessed with this Nordi Fairisle print- it's usually found in a more festive red colour but I think it looks lovely in the subtle grey shade especially for things like homeware and bedding. I love the fact that this is undeniably Christmas bedding without being in a typically festive colour. The print features reindeer, Christmas trees and hearts. So cute!

4. Monochrome Christmas Trees
This is such a simple design but is so pretty, the sketched Christmas tree print would give a hint of festivity to your room without going too full on. It's a hard choice, but of the five I think this one is my favourite!

5. Reindeer Cross Stitch
The most colourful of the bunch. This one is reversible, although I'd probably always have the white side on display. The little red designs are all done in a cross stitch style, I have to admit I'm not the biggest fan of the colour red in bedrooms but it's not too much in this especially since it's on a white background.
