Rimmel Colour Show Off Lipstick in Pink Gossip: Review

Rimmel Colour Show Off Lipsticks: £2.99 From Fragrance Direct

Every time I'm bored on my laptop you can guarantee that I'll end up on Fragrance Direct- when you need a bit of a makeup fix (as you do) but don't want to spend a fortune it's definitely the place to go. I usually head straight to the lipstick section, which is where I spotted this- being a magpie for all things pink and shiny, you can bet that I added this to my basket pretty sharpish! When it comes to Rimmel lipsticks I'm quite the fan, and so I'm surprised that I've never heard of these before.

I know some people will really hate the packaging of this, but I'll shamelessly admit that I love it. It's pink, metallic, girly and tacky; don't get me wrong I love a sleek Mac lipstick as much as the next person, but I'm more than happy to add more of these to my lipstick stash. The shade is the most beautiful bright coral pink with a semi-matte finish, absolutely perfect for spring and summer time. If you're a fan of the Kate Moss lipsticks you'll like these- the texture, finish and even the scent is really similar. Judging by the £1.99 price tag and the fact it's on Fragrance Direct means that this line has probably been discontinued (on the plus side though it means snagging them at a reduced price, yippee). I'm definitely going to be hunting down more of the shades, even if it means searching through the darkest and dustiest corners of eBay. Whether you love or hate the packaging the product itself is brilliant and well worth trying out. This colour especially is so pretty I can hardly contain myself, the entire product just one big pink explosion! I bought mine from here, you'll probably be able find some of the shades on most discounted cosmetics sites too.
