eBay False Eyelashes Review

I'd be the first one to admit that I'm a false eyelash fanatic. I wear natural looking ones throughout the daytime at least a few times a week, and wouldn't dream of getting dressed up for an evening out without a thick pair of fluttery dramatic lashes. I think they make your eyes much more defined than even the best mascaras, and when they're applied properly they are actually quite comfortable to wear. I started buying these packs of eyelashes from eBay probably around four years ago now, and have kept myself well stocked in them ever since. At 99p for ten pairs they're probably the cheapest lashes available to buy anywhere; considering a 'cheap' pair of eyelashes from the highstreet is around three or four pounds for one pair I think these are such a great find, and they come in loads of different styles.

The only major downside to these that I've noticed is that the band is quite thick and can be very uncomfortable in the corners of your eyes unless you trim it right down. The way I get around this is by trimming down the width and gluing them on the outer two thirds of the eyelid. This gives the lashes a really pretty winged out effect, and avoids the horrible 'I feel like tearing my own eyes out because there's a false eyelash digging into the inner corner' sensation. You can even cut one eyelash in half and apply each piece to the outside corner of your eye like I've shown in the picture above too. This gives you the look of luscious long lashes, without looking like your ready for a night on the town at 11am.

I really like these lashes, and would be pretty devastated if for any reason they stopped selling them on ebay. I like to have a couple of different varieties at any one time so that I always have the perfect pair for any occasion, plus it means I have plenty for if I'm doing friends makeup on nights out too. If you like how false lashes look but don't want to break the bank I highly recommend these, I find this seller to be really reliable and always has lots of different styles in stock. As with anything you order from Hong Kong they do take a couple of weeks to arrive, but still well worth it for the quality and price.

Have you ever tried false lashes from eBay, or do you have certain brands that you always go for?
