Etude House Lovely Cookie Blush in Grapefruit Jelly

If you caught my 'Most Loved Makeup of 2013' post you might have spotted this blush amongst my top products of the year, which is quite a compliment to it really- not only did I try a LOT of blushes throughout 2013 but I'm also extremely picky with them. When it comes to eyeshadow and lip products I'm easy- well easier at least; blushes on the other hand have to be matte, a flattering peachy shade  and a top notch formulation (very specific I know, but stick with what you know works I say!) This most definitely ticks all of the boxes, it's such a shame Etude House isn't easily available here in the UK because clearly we're missing out big time!

I must admit the cute eye catching design was what won me over initially, but the actual blush itself is one of the most beautiful, soft, finely milled products I own. This coral/ pinky peach shade would look good on just about any skin tone- while there's never much difference to my pale face between summer and winter it's a shade that looks nice all year round, and I can imagine it complimenting warmer and darker skin tones really nicely too. Blushes that aren't packed with a shed load of glitter or shimmer are pretty hard to come by, but this is completely matte so a perfect natural daytime choice. While I'd never use the powder puff that comes with it (I always apply powder blush with my trusty Real Techniques blush brush) it's not too much of a pain to remove it and put it back once you're done.

If you're ever able get your hands on Etude House products I highly recommend scouring out this one, I got mine through a Malaysian beauty swap but you might have some luck on eBay. I've spotted it on this website for £7.31, although I've never shopped from here personally so couldn't tell you what their shipping or service was like. This will be a definite repurchase for me once it finally runs out, it's a just so much nicer than most other blushes I've ever tried and is a shade that works well for me. Trust me to fall in love with a product that's only easily available to buy half way across the world hey!
