Blogmas #23 Christmas Wishlist

Happy Christmas Eve, Eve! December seems to have flown by so quickly, even though I've spent a whole month posting about it it honestly feels like I could have blinked and missed it! Regardless of the fact that I'm twenty seven years old it just wouldn't be Christmas without a Christmas wishlist, slightly different to previous years though in the fact that I know I probably wont be getting any of this stuff. That's because what I want most of all is my driving license, and after years of putting it off I've decided that in the new year I'm going to get it done. I got my provisional sorted and passed my theory test back in November so am all set to go; I have a semi intensive course booked with a local instructor in January, and from there will continue with lessons until I'm ready for my test. With driving lessons costing an absolute fortune (especially when they're going to be done in bulk like I'm doing them) rather than buy me presents this year my mum and boyfriend have agreed to help me with the cost of those instead. So while there will be no physical things to open I'm more than happy to look at the bigger picture and focus on how amazing it will be to be able to drive instead! Aside from that there are a couple of other things I've had my eye on for a while that I thought I'd share, and had I not been doing driving lessons in January these are the things I'd have been hoping for under the Christmas tree. Hopefully I'll get around to getting them myself at some point!

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
New perfume at Christmas is always such a treat, and you can't get much better than something from Chanel. Coco Mademoiselle is a sweet, citrus and spicy fragrance which is exactly my kind of thing especially for evening wear. At almost £100 for 100ml it's an expensive one; I already own so many perfumes I'd probably find this hard to justify buying for myself, but would be a gorgeous 'special occasion' scent.

You know you're getting old when you struggle to think of things you want for yourself, but can think of a million things you want for your home. This has been on the lust list for quite some time, the obsession began when I started watching the Great British Bakeoff. The original Kitchen Aid's are eye wateringly expensive but you can get cheaper versions if you look around. I found the one above in Next, I'm not in love with the cream colour but at £99 the price isn't too bad, especially compared to the £600+ originals.

Pandora Charms
I got my Pandora bracelet early this year, but at the moment only have two charms on it. There are loads that I like but the three I currently have my eye on are the camera, dog and dice charms. The camera and dog for obvious reasons and the dice to represent my holiday to Vegas. It was a few years ago now but was one of the best times I've ever had so think the dice is the perfect little reminder.

Another homeware piece, but something I know I'd get so much use out of in the new year. My current blender is on it's last legs and I'm often left with lumpy smoothies in the morning, which lets face it is possibly the worst start to the day ever. It's also a big bulky thing which isn't ideal in my small kitchen, and so I'm lusting after a smaller Nutribullet/ Nutri-ninja style blender. I particularly like the fact that the cup is attached so you can drink from it afterwards too, if it saves having to wash up mushed up fruit from one extra thing it's definitely no bad thing.

Over the past year I've really grown to love crossbody bags, they're so handy and stop me from carrying round loads of extra junk. Not too long ago I'd lug around a giant thing full to the brim every day, which is really not necessary when you're only popping out to the shop and all you need is your phone, purse and keys. I've wanted the original Jetset tote for years but I know for a fact now that I'd get so much more use out of the smaller crossbody. It's absolutely beautiful, all of the classy high quality of a Michael Kors bag but in a cute little size, perfect.
The only beauty item on the list! (unless perfume counts?) How things have changed over the last couple of years. While I still like and enjoy makeup I definitely don't lust after it any more, maybe because I already own more stuff than I'm ever realistically going to be able to use. I'm much more into skincare and haircare these days, the problem is the good stuff is expensive and I go through it so quickly! I haven't had a high end oil in a while and think my hair would really appreciate it.

What's on your Christmas list?
