My Favourite Budget Bronze Eyeshadow Look

Eyeshadow palettes are definitely some of my favourite makeup items; there's nothing more exciting than a gorgeous selection of perfectly complimenting eyeshadows, all packaged up in one handy palette! I'm guilty of favouring my higher end palettes and day to day they're usually the ones I'll grab, but now and again I'll remember I have something like this beauty in my stash. This is by Glo and Ray and it's just beautiful, the quality is great and just look how pretty those shades are. The bronze and gold along with the highlight shade create the perfect bronzed eyeshadow look that I find really compliments my eye colour, and for daily wear it's a lot more convenient than dragging out a bigger palette and having to decide which colours to go for (admittedly that's a nice problem to have sometimes, but having a totally fuss free option too is always appreciated!)

The pigmentation and texture of these eyeshadows is really impressive, they're soft and blend well and overall are just so nice to use. I've been using the gold as a lid colour and then blending the darker bronze shade along the outer third and into the crease of the eye and under the lower lashline and finally finishing the look with a small amount of the white highlight in the inner corners. Usually when I'm doing a smokey eye (even for the daytime) I mess around with three or four different shades and it can be pretty time consuming. I forgot how a quick and simple eyeshadow look can be great too, and it's plus so much easier to do.

If you're after a nice bronze eyeshadow palette for over the spring and summer then this is a great one to go for. Whether you're new to makeup or already own a tonne of higher end shadows you'll still love this just because it performs so well- despite being budget friendly you don't feel as though you're compromising on quality in the slightest. I think these palettes are a a nice way to add some additional shades to your collection or to find the perfect palette for a specific look, since they have a few different ones available. If I go away at any point this year, this is the eyeshadow I'll be bringing with me!

Are there any spring/ summer makeup looks you're loving at the moment?
