My Recent Sale Find: The Perfect Spring Tote Bag

Cath Kidston Kingswood Rose tote bag: £32 in the Cath Kidston Sale on Love The Sales

Sale shopping has to be one of my favourite things- who doesn't want to get the most for their money and grab a great deal?! I often find the best sales by asking around on Twitter (one of the many perks of having a network of shopping obsessed beauty and fashion bloggers) but aside from that, searching through manually can be kind of time consuming. And so I was really excited to discover 'Love The Sales', a website that does all of the hard work for you and shows all current sale items from across the internet. Cue me spending hours searching for bargains, and racking up a wishlist as long as my arm.

With spring around the corner I've been looking to update some essential wardrobe pieces and for a while have had my eye on a Cath Kidston tote bag. Something that would be suitable for travelling, daytrips, picnics and general spring/ summery activities- and so when I spotted the Kingswood Rose tote bag reduced from £75 to just £32 I snapped it straight up! The large size is absolutely perfect for what I need it for, and the gorgeous floral print is spring and summer in a nutshell. With it being Cath Kidston the quality is really nice too, the cotton fabric is actually coated with a matte pvc meaning that it's protected from any marks and spills without taking away from the look of the bag. The inside is just one large compartment which is what I was after, although you do get an inner zip pocket which would be ideal for keeping your phone or any other small valuables safe while you're out and about. The contrasting blue handles are made out of leather so there's no worry of them wearing out quickly- this always happens to me with high street bags so I'm glad Cath Kidston haven't cut corners here as it will keep it looking nice for so much longer. I like that the handles are a bit longer as it means you have the option of wearing it on your shoulder too, which can be handy if you're lugging a big bag around with you.

There are two sizes available in this bag; I went for the larger one because it will be really practical for everything I need it for, but the smaller one is also in the sale and is a nice kind of size for an everyday handbag for over the warmer months. I'm so happy with my sale find, the quality is gorgeous and at over 50% off it was such a bargain, I know I'm going to get loads of use from it. I definitely plan on investing in more Cath Kidston pieces, I think this may have started a slight addiction!
