It's Time To Rule Your Own Health And Mind

The ways in which we feel and deal with anxiety and depression may vary. Some of us sit in denial and don’t want to admit that we have a problem, a classic sign of wanting to be strong for yourself and those around you. It is counterproductive, because admitting to a problem allows you to make the decisions to change. A lot of the times, your friends and relatives, won't always know how to react because they don't want to see you this way; but it's a part of life, and you should never bottle it up, if you need to cry, then cry, even if it is front of your family or friends, if you're feeling it, you need to feel it. If you live alone, it may trigger loneliness. Anxiety and depression can be tamed and even cured in cases, but certainly it can be controlled. You don’t necessarily have to opt for antidepressants, you can try other methods that could really help you such as:

  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Breathing techniques
  • Travel
  • Change of job/career
  • Exercise
  • Sleeping better
  • Joining clubs
  • Helping other people
  • Arts and crafts

If you feel that your symptoms are not going away, then it is good to speak to your GP about it if you want further help or medication. Your GP can assess how you’re feeling and they can make a good plan of action. If you want to opt for a more natural solution then you could look into CBD supplements for your wellness. They help not only with anxiety, but for your heart, liver, kidneys and many other ways. There are also plenty of groups out there, even online, whether that’s on Facebook or other forums, and you can connect to others who suffer depression. If it's something in the moment, that you're struggling with or have any kind of suicidal thoughts then you can call The Samaritans on 116 123. It's free to call them.

There is always someone on the other end of a phone or online somewhere to help. Most importantly, however, the thing to remember is, that tomorrow is a new day and the chemicals in your brain do shift with sleep and time. You can reset your mind to stop feeling anxious and to stop feeling depressed. We are all part of a growing developing world that is reliant on electrical waves and is forever being influenced by the moon and the universe. So, with that in mind, it’s important to remember that the universe as a whole is constantly changing balance and you as a living being is changing too. The days do get easier. Talk to people and let them know how you feel. If you have friends, perhaps you always say no when they invite you out. They may not have a clue that it’s anxiety or depression holding you back. Keep them in the loop. Talk things through. Be open to change. Be willing to try new things. But above all, don’t be so hard on yourself. Remember that anxiety and depression can create a multitude of problems.
