Summer is the perfect time to take a break and book a long weekend of fun, there's nothing more exciting than planning a trip, packing a case and travelling somewhere new! Whether it's in the UK or overseas, if you've got some time of work (or are just looking at things to do during the upcoming summer bank holiday) here are a few ideas to consider.

Spa Breaks

Some spa breaks will come with accommodation and food included, if not you could treat yourself to a fancy hotel and really make the most of it.

Shoppings Breaks
A whole weekend of shopping, what could be better? It’s a great way to indulge and spend to your hearts content. In the evening you could head out in the town, and go shopping again the next day before heading home. Here are some of the best towns in the UK for shopping.

Go to the Seaside
Everyone loves the seaside; days spent by the beach eating traditional fish and chips, and evenings visiting bars and restaurants. There are so many quaint little seaside towns in the UK that are worth a visit, somewhere like Looe is great as there are lots of cute shops and touristy things to do. You can find a Looe hotel to stay which has views over the beach which would make for some gorgeous photo opportunities!

Trip to a City on the Eurostar
If you're looking to go a bit further afield why not look at some short breaks by rail, The Eurostar only takes a couple of hours to get to cities such as Brussels or Paris! There are  that you could consider,  You can also look at some short flights if you fancy a city break. For something a bit different look at less well-known cities to visit such as Gdansk in Poland, or Bari in Italy. You'll find cheaper flight to these cities, but there is still plenty to do and see.
