Having A Good Time At University Again After Covid Lockdowns

These past few months have been really stressful for all people. Those that are in university and those that are heading off to university are in the same boat. They are having to adapt to a new way of life, thanks to the coronavirus. In the midst of these changes, remember that having a good time is important for your mental health. Everyone is so worried about doing the wrong thing, that people have forgotten the importance of having fun and enjoying life. We cannot supplement this by worry and over precaution. There are some things that are out of our control and we cannot help this. So how do you have a good time at university in the current climate?

Historical sites
The pubs and clubs will probably be limiting the number of people that can enter each night, so that leaves many students unable to go out for a night on the town. Substitute this by having days out where there is a lot of room and not many people, such as historical sites. Many university cities and towns have a lot of historical buildings such as castles, museums, and squares. You can find historical sites around the city or town you are studying by going onto the city hall or city council website. They will show a list of activities and sites, you can visit and which ones will be open. Follow the safety measures such as masks and gloves and you could have an amazing time in a Middle-Aged castle or politically important square.

Going out for a drink
As you can imagine, lots of students will want to go out for a drink. To not get turned away, you should bring your ID Card. Just send in your photo which can be taken with your smartphone and you can have your ID card be made in as little as 5 working days. This is awesome if you have lost your ID card and need an urgent replacement but the university or other institutions such as the driver’s license authorities are backlogged. Rather than waiting for weeks, you can get an ID card in a few days and be allowed into pubs and clubs again. You can also use this ID card at Barclays but not at any other bank. You can buy this ID Card with your debit card so it's all completed online and takes just a few minutes.

Remember to enjoy it
Far too many people are concerned about their grades in university and they forget to enjoy their course. Remember you’re there to learn! Going back to normal is going to be tough, but engaging in conversation with your fellow students and diving deeper into the subjects you’re taking will reaffirm your love for what it is you’re doing. Who says you need to go away from the university to have a good time!? Now is the time to explore historical sites and enjoy the outdoors again. Remember to bring your ID card to any pub or club you’re heading into and if you’ve lost this, you can get a new one in 5 days.
