Fragrance Friday: NEW Perfumes from Nspa- Energy and Fern

I've been pretty much obsessed with Nspa perfumes since the release of their three scents last year, I'm forever choosing them over my more expensive fragrances and have a serious love affair with 'Bloom' especially. I've been crossing my fingers and waiting patiently to find out if more scents would be added to the line, and so you can imagine I was rather excited to hear about these beauties! Two brand new fragrances by the names of 'Energy' and 'Fern'.

Notes: grapefruit, neroli, bergamot, petitgrain
Energy is just summer in a bottle- it's so fruity and fresh and the refreshing citrusy notes are exactly what you want when the sun is shining. Being a bit of a perfume dunce I didn't know what any of the individual notes were, however after quick googling session I discovered that neroli, bergamot and petitgrain are all citrus notes which explains why this scent is SO zesty uplifting. I really like the fact they haven't tried to add a load of floral or different foodie notes in here and have just kept it purely citrusy as it's just so summery. Energy is benchmarked against Jo Malone 'Grapefruit' so if that's the kind of scent you're into you'll love this.

Notes: amber, cypress, patchouli, cedarwood
I don't know how they've done it, but Nspa have managed to create a perfume that's woody while still being feminine. I always associated woody scents with mens fragrance, but this certainly isn't manly! It's a fresh, sweet scent with the main note being the cedarwood- I'm not trying to be whimsical here but the best way I can describe this is 'walking through the woods in springtime.' It's not at all floral but has a green spring freshness to it, I've not smelled anything else quite like it but I can without doubt say I like it a lot. It's not your generic perfume scent but still something I think most people would appreciate.

The whole range follows this same simple yet pretty packaging, with each scent having its own colour. I like the fact that while every fragrance in the range is completely different, and so really do cover all bases depending on what you like (see my reviews here for BloomOrient and Pure). Being an EDT they're not going to last you all day, but are great to have in your bag for a bit of a fragrance boost and being so inexpensive you're not going to feel guilty for getting spray happy! If you're looking to update your fragrance wardrobe for the spring and summer without spending a fortune check out these: Energy and Fern are available online and in stores from the 16th June.

Have your tried any of Nspa's perfumes yet?

  1. I'm on the lookout for a cheap and cheerful fragrance to just mist myself in on a daily basis, as I'm getting through my beloved Marc Jacobs perfume waaaay too quickly. These two look like they might fit the bill!

    1. These are great for spraying on through the day, I know what you mean I go through perfume like crazy too lol. It's nice to keep more expensive perfumes for nights out, but these are so nice you don't feel like you're compromising when you use them at all :) x

  2. I didn't even know nSpa did fragrances, I love nSpa products, the body lotions smell just gorgeous.
i'll definitely keep a look out for these. Energy sounds right up my street.
