George 'Lash n Line' Mascara and Eyeliner Duo

George Lash n Line*: £4 at Asda

When it comes to budget makeup brands, George at Asda definitely take the top spot for me. Even though I tend to invest in higher end makeup these days, there are a number of products from the brand that I still love and use often. Not only is everything as cheap as chips but the quality is always so good, if I ever run out of a product and need a quick and inexpensive replacement George cosmetics are my first port of call. Always a fan of a multi use product I was excited to hear about their new 'Lash n Line' containing a mascara on one end and a liquid liner on the other. Great for saving space in a travel bag, or just streamlining your 'bursting at the seams' makeup bag!

Back when I very first started blogging in 2012 I reviewed George's black liquid liner, and it was so good I've repurchased multiple times over the years. I love everything about it, and even though I've tried others I often come back to this one. And so when I opened up the liner side of this, I was really pleased to see that the same one is included here. The formulation is great, it lasts all day and the stiff pointed brush makes application easy and precise. The mascara on the other end gives good length to the lashes; the formula of this is slightly on the drier side but this means that you're not having to battle with clumps. I'd say this was more of a lengthening rather than a volumising mascara, and while it's not my favourite ever it still does the job and leaves lashes looking long and fluttery.

This is a small product which is handy for saving space, however the mascara and liner should last for months of daily use seeing as they're actually close to being full sized. Each end works out at just £2 making it such a bargain, you'd probably pay up to double that for each product even from most highstreet brands. This will definitely be in my travel bag over Christmas and I'll be hunting it down again in the summer for any trips or holidays too!
