Many companies are considering switching to blockchain technology as a way of storing data, seeing as it is hard to hack and incredibly secure. Artificial Intelligence
We’re already seeing advancements in AI since it first burst onto the scene. Nowadays, you see AI in almost every form of technology out there. In essence, it’s designed to make life easier by completing tasks for you. Right now, the best example of it is a smart assistant - like Siri or Alexa. This technology uses AI to do things like adding shopping to a list, setting alarms, sending texts, and so on. In the future, we may see AI dominate the world like never before. Robots with AI installed could replace human workers in shops and factories, being programmed to complete certain tasks. Electric Vehicles
Again, this is something we already see around us, but technology will grow and advance like never before, becoming a central point of our lives. This means more charging points around the globe, making it easier for people to drive electric cars as you can charge them with ease. Speaking of which, advancements in battery technologies could make cars faster and have a greater range than they currently do. As such, this makes the possibility of driving electric more feasible than before. Of course, the underlying benefit of all of this is that we could reach a point where no cars are powered by gasoline, reducing global carbon emissions and saving the planet!
Some honorable mentions should also be considered, such as augmented and virtual reality. Both of these have uses in the current world that could shape our futures. You also have drone technology, which might grow to replace traditional forms of package delivery services. No matter what, we can say that the future of technology is definitely bright and exciting.
